Yesterday was my cousin Bianca's 15th birthday. It would have been her first birthday celebration in Australia so I thought I would do something special, something a little extra to make her feel at home. I baked. A cake. A very nice cake actually. Baked, shaped, iced and everything! I was quite pleased with how it turned out and even though I'm not a huge fan of "Dark Chocolate", this cake was wickedly delicious!
Thankfully everyone enjoyed it. Well they better had! Baking it was fun but sometimes frustrating and my brother James nearly decked me when I had become overly-frantic about how my first attempt at the icing went. Bloody ridiculous! But as you can see, I came through.
